Smartphone Notifications and their Psychophysiological Impact

This project, at the core of my doctoral research, explored the impact of perceiving notifications on smartphone users’ psychophysiology. Supporting years of HCI and psychology research that relied on subjective measurements, this work provided the first objective evidence that perceiving a smartphone notification significantly dirsupts a user’s internal state.
